So our boy Shaan takes a beautiful new turn in his journey with his OTT debut in Brown on ZEE5 as Nitin Goswami. Sharing screen space with Karisma Kapoor, who plays Rita Brown, Shaan delivers a performance that feels natural, effortless, and sincere.

Set against a backdrop of crime, trauma, and emotional darkness, Brown explores the complexities of human pain and resilience. Amidst this intense narrative, Nitin's character brings a sense of warmth, hope, and emotional comfort.


Though he appears on screen for only a few minutes, his presence leaves a lasting impact. Nitin beautifully represents the idea that love is stronger than fear, pain, and darkness. In many ways, his character reminds us that no matter how difficult life becomes, healing often comes through love and human connection.



Although Shaan has acted in Bollywood films twice before, Brown marks his first ever OTT acting appearance, and he makes a beautiful impression. His portrayal of Nitin Goswami proves that sometimes a role with limited screen time, performed with honesty and heart, can become one of the most meaningful parts of a story.

Born on September 9, 1943, Manas Mukherjee was the eldest of five siblings. Music ran in his blood.
