The way we fans get Shaan, the real, raw, genuine Shaan, would not have been possible if Radhika wasn’t there beside him. Shaan may be the voice we all adore. But Radhika? She is the reason that voice sounds so free. He is singing his heart out, performing across the world, doing his regular work related to music with a stress-free mind, and this peace of mind is only and only because of Radhika. She assures Shaan that he can fully concentrate on his musical journey without taking any tension about what’s going on in the kitchen or any household matters, because he can rely on her completely. She handles that part of their life with grace and skill.

Shaan is someone who has almost zero knowledge of cooking, he can’t even make a cup of tea, and he’s not really skilled in any household chores either. So it’s always Radhika who takes care of all of that with calmness and care.

She gives him immense emotional and moral support in every moment of his life and single-handedly manages all the household work too. She’s the one handling her two boys, oops, actually three, because Shaan is no less than a kid when it comes to managing day-to-day things. He often leaves his wet towel on the bed after a bath, and it’s Radhika who quietly puts it in the right place without getting angry at her Shaan. He often leaves his socks on the table, but it's Radhika who always puts them in the right place. She checks whether he’s carrying his wallet, watch, phone, and even some change,before he leaves. Otherwise, he’ll call her saying, “You didn’t keep any change in my wallet?” That’s the kind of love she gives him, caring for him like a school-going boy.

And it’s not just the daily routine. They shifted their house not once, but twice, and both times, Shaan was away doing his shows in different cities. Radhika managed the entire process of packing, organizing, and moving, all by herself. That’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but she did it with strength, patience, and incredible efficiency.

And yet, this is the same woman who was once an airhostess, who ran the Big Red Bus store, who pursued a pilot’s course, who learned advanced cooking, who had a desire to pursue an Executive MBA, and who founded Happydemic, the dream company she and Shaan built together. She even authored the beautiful book An Epidemic of Happiness.

Knowing Shaan’s deep love for cricket and his achievements as a school athlete, Radhika gifted him a premium English Willow cricket bat from BDM, the brand that crafted bats for Sourav Ganguly, thoughtfully arranged with Babul Supriyo’s help. It wasn’t just a gift, it reflected how deeply she understands and celebrates even the smallest joys of his heart.

She truly knows how to strike the perfect balance. Radhika is a role model not just for girls, but for every wife, mother, daughter-in-law, and working professional. After staying away from a formal office environment for years, most women hesitate to begin something of their own.
